PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsions)

These versatile adhesives are widely used throughout the wood industry. Applications include general assembly, edge gluing of panels, doweling, face gluing and veneering. Our PVA formulas differ according to a number of variables. These include water resistance, color, viscosity, open time, cure time, wetability (Tg), heat resistance, and a variety of other attributes. Fast Setting PVA

Urea Formaldehyde Resins

The generally accepted standard for gluing hardwood plywood veneers. UF resins are available for use at room temperature or with heat. They are commonly used in vacuum bag presses and platen presses. The two most common forms of this adhesive are pre-catalyzed powder to which water is added and a liquid resin to which catalyst is added. Both forms provide a thermoset bond with high water and heat resistance.  A wide range of catalysts and additives are available for use with these adhesives. Resorcinol Resins

The only waterbased adhesive capable of providing a structural, waterproof bond at room temperature.  Used in boat building, outdoor furniture and signs as well as laminated beams and trusses, this adhesive passes Type 1 HPVA plywood specifications and ASTM 2559 Wet Use specifications. Contact Cements

Used extensively in the manufacture of countertops, cabinets, and panels, contact cements are available in a number of formulations. We sell traditional flammable, solvent based products, non-flammable, solvent based products (both methylene chloride and N-propyl bromide based) and waterbased products. Polyurethane Adhesives

Reactive Polyurethane Adhesives are available in both liquid and hot melt forms. The liquid formulations are available in many different formulas that vary by set speed and strength. Liquid PURs are being used successfully in many applications that once called for two part adhesives and adhesives containing formaldehyde. Their ease of use, strength and water resistance make them a staple for every operation. In addition these adhesives adhere to a wide variety of difficult to glue substrates. Hot Melt Adhesives

From assembly and drawer bottom sealing to edgebanding, profile wrapping and packaging, hot melt adhesives in their many formulations are widely used throughout the wood products industry. Within the last 10 years Polyurethane Hot Melts have started to replace more traditional adhesives because of their fast set speed, high strength and low impact on the environment.
