PVA (Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsions)
These versatile adhesives are widely used throughout the wood industry. Applications include general assembly, edge gluing of panels, doweling, face gluing and veneering. Our PVA formulas differ according to a number of variables. These include water resistance, color, viscosity, open time, cure time, wetability (Tg), heat resistance, and a variety of other attributes. To determine which formula is right for you call us at 800-454-4583 or e-mail one of our technical specialists at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Urea Formaldehyde Resins
The generally accepted standard for gluing hardwood plywood veneers. UF resins are available for use at room temperature or with heat. They are commonly used in vacuum bag presses and platen presses. The two most common forms of this adhesive are pre-catalyzed powder to which water is added and a liquid resin to which catalyst is added. Both forms provide a thermoset bond with high water and heat resistance. A wide range of catalysts and additives are available for use with these adhesives. Call 800-454-4583 (or e-mail email@example.com) to determine the right formulation for your application.
